Account Director

We're seeking an Account Director with a minimum of 3 - 5 years' brand or product marketing experience to aid our strategic and creative business development across our national and international blue chip client base.

Working in a fast-paced, innovative and challenging environment, you'll demonstrate a proven ability to deliver integrated marketing plans across a wide spectrum of on and offline communication channels. You'll also need a strong commercial understanding - particularly of sales versus costs, and account profitability.

Solid communication skills and a hands-on approach are essential, as you'll be leading and organising team members to execute projects effectively and efficiently. Working with clients to understand and develop their marketing strategies, you'll be confident both to interpret and challenge their briefs.

With an understanding of and realising the importance of brand strategy, marketing planning, business development and market research across a range of communication channels, you'll have the opportunity to influence at a global level, so confidence and credibility are crucial.

Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be involved in building some of the most desirable brands in the UK and will be expected to participate at all levels, including essential project management duties, running a production team and supporting the Account Director in a client facing role.

Bringing new energy and vigor to the team whilst maintaining all necessary control, you will be expected to manage your daily work and the production programme with minimal supervision, within critical deadlines and to budget. Your thorough and organised nature will make you the perfect custodian of these projects and your excellent communication skills will allow you to motivate and ensure the account team performs to its optimum. Given full project ownership, you will be involved at all levels keeping financial and business documentation up to date and presenting schematics and proposals to the client.

Furthermore your experience in New Media Industry in arenas such as online and mobile marketing will enable you to build strong, successful internal and external client relationships with a clear understanding of their requirements and expectations.

Creative

We are seeking creatives of exceptional standards to join our dedicated team of 55 staff. Passionate and ambitious individuals demonstrating great design knowledge both on and offline will be advantaged. Creatives should ideally also be proficient in usual industry softwares including InDesign.

Digital Creative

We are seeking a talented and creative designer to join our new media team and work on a wide range of exciting and high-profile accounts. The successful candidate will:

  • Work across the business developing concepts for all current and new clients for whom we produce online and multimedia material (includes web design, e-marketing, animation, 3d modeling, film production etc).
  • Conceive and develop designs, using traditional visualising skills as well as industry-relevant software.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of and skills in Flash and Photoshop. Also animation/film editing software (eg Lightwave, Premiere, After Effects etc).

Graphic Designer

Role and Responsibilities

  • Involved at the start or concept stages of projects to assist and ensure a smooth transition from concept to print.
  • Producing Mac visuals from scamps and page layouts provided by creative director or senior creatives.
  • To produce artwork suitable for hand over to external or internal suppliers ensuring that all production methods used are efficient and that the end product to be supplied is compatible with final out put requirements.
  • Produce high-end reprographic work using industry software appropriate at the time of production. (Currently: In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Production of high-end retouching, image manipulation, colour balancing and compilation of imagery as a project requires.

Senior Interactive Designer

Do you dream of using AS3 to turn big ideas into a glorious, cutting-edge reality? A creative thinker who can conceive and develop designs then call upon vast experience of web development to implement concepts. Utilising and pushing the boundaries of Flash, incorporating data feeds and multimedia elements to create motion graphics that surpass all expectation.

If this is you, we are seeking a talented and creative flash developer/designer to join our digital team and work on a wide range of exciting and high-profile accounts. Your core skills and passions will include: Flash 9 (AS3 and OOP methods), AIR, XML/XLST, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Adobe CS3 suite.

It is critical that you are able to develop fast, accurately and predict timescales for production. Experience of Ajax, ASP.net (C#), MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Triggers, DTS, Relational Design), video editing and 3D Studio Max would be an advantage but not essential for this position.

In addition you would be expected to inspire others by mentoring and motivating junior members of the team. As part of the creative team, bringing your vision to life by inspiring clients and communicating your ideas is essential.

You should possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to work on portfolio of high profile clients whilst contributing to the ongoing success and innovation of the dept.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Linney Group as an Account Manager working with many of our well known high street and branded clients.

Whilst being based from our head office in Nottinghamshire, your role would be to provide support for the current print management account teams already in place throughout the South-East of England, largely in the London area.

This is likely to be a very challenging role requiring the successful candidate to be highly adaptive as they move between our various sites, learning and understanding about our clients, and how the Linney Group supports them in achieving their businesses objectives.

Linney Group Project Managers: Linney Connect and Linney Direct

Linney Group Project Managers: Linney Connect and Linney Direct

We're also looking to expand our Project Management team further to continue improving the support and service we offer our clients.

Working with the Linney Group and its clients' Management Information Systems, you will be responsible for processing, administrating, and expediting projects and campaigns for our customers, using Linney Group companies and its outwork partners.You are likely to have daily customer contact. Some of the skills required are general project management skills, excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail.

The two Project Management roles we’re looking to fill are at Linney Connect on the print management side of the business, and at Linney Direct on the fulfilment* side.

* Digital print, variable pick and packing, data collection, stock management.

This role also has the potential to allow the right person to continue their career development by moving into Account Management. In the past, some successful Project Managers have moved into an increasing client focused role, generally working directly with the customer at our customer's head offices, often in the Greater London area.

Digital Repro Operator

Linney Print are looking for a quality orientated Digital Repro Operator to work within our pre-press team. The ideal candidate will be aware of current workflows within the pre-press environment and be a daily user of print related applications, notably Illustrator, Quark, Acrobat & Pitstop, InDesign and Preps.

Linney Print is a busy company dealing with a wide range of work types and operating 24/7. As such, you will be expected to work a three shift system including nights, for which a generous allowance is paid. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you will have good people skills and be used to rapid turnarounds. The ability to use initiative in solving problems whilst retaining a high degree of accuracy is essential.
